His childhood fantasies were the foundation of his books and HBO’s epic Game of Thrones series. Now George is living among the wolves in Santa Fe and playing a real-life game of survival in New Mexico. Who will live and who will die?

J.K. Rowling

J.K. Rowling is as successful as she is controversial, a billionaire author with a rags-to-riches story that began humbly as a single mother on welfare benefits who wrote her first Harry Potter novel while battling depression. Joanne Rowling has sold more than 500m books but behind the scenes she is recognized for her significant charitable donations and founding a neurology clinic in memory of her mother.

Stephen King

From It and Carrie to The Shining, Stephen King is the author of our nightmares. Back when he was working the graveyard shift at a textile factory, Stephen reveled in horror stories about the mill’s basement where workers battled rats as big as dogs. The delicious possibilities fired his imagination as Stephen wrote Graveyard Shift. More than 60 novels later, he has only stopped writing once, when his personal horror story unfolded like the plot of Misery.
