The Klitschko brothers
Unlike most brothers, Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko have never fought each other. Instead they’ve fought everybody else, becoming the most successful heavyweight boxers in history. From a childhood in the shadow of the Chernobyl disaster, to Olympic gold and complete domination of their sport, the Klitschkos have never backed down from an opponent. Now they face a new challenge, battling an invasion not just as soldiers, but as figureheads of a daring resistance against the odds.
As a child all Katie wanted to do was box, but women’s boxing was illegal in Ireland. She pinned her hair up, pretended to be a boy, and boxed her way through every glass ceiling in sight. She’s now the number one female boxer on earth, and Ireland’s biggest sporting hero in a generation, standing out as a beacon of inspiration against the troubled and controversial backdrop of Irish boxing.
