Meanwhile, she was revolutionizing the world of image recognition and is now one of the most prominent figures in the field of AI, and using her considerable influence to ensure the tech promotes diversity and fairness.
The Godfather of artificial intelligence was raised by hippies, and as a child he had to scrimp and save to buy his first computer. He made good use of that hardware, pioneering breakthrough technologies that were dismissed as pipe dreams by his peers. Now those dreams are reality, and power everything from machine learning to image recognition software, but Yoshua continues to strive to ensure the next wave of AI is a force for good in the world.
